Why I Started this site

My name is Natalie Clark, and I am currently a senior in high school. As a part of my Independent Study class, where I am studying family law, I created this website to explain the difference in family laws in the different states in the United States. As a person who has moved across the country, I know what it's like to have everything change, so I want those who are moving to have a place to get informed on these changing laws. All information on this site has been gathered from reputable sources such as books, lawyers, legal journals, and other websites. However, this website is intended to give a general overview of each topic, and as such may leave out specific details. If any further information is needed in terms of your case, it would be helpful to contact a lawyer in your area to help your case move forward.
